Guided Meditation

Meditation is a simple and effective approach to training and quieting the mind for a period of time to build awareness, attention, and relaxation.  There are numerous scientifically-proven health benefits to the practice, including stress reduction, enhanced self-awareness, and improved happiness and general well-being. Tai Chi

Wednesday, January 20th – 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Originating in ancient China, tai chi is an effective form of exercise for the mind and body. The ultimate purpose of tai chi is to cultivate the qi, or life energy, within a practitioner to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body. Known as “meditation in motion,” this low-impact, slow-motion exercise goes through a series of motions without stopping, focusing on the breath and bodily sensations. Tai chi can be easily adapted for any fitness level or body type. There are many benefits of tai chi including, the reduction of stress and anxiety as well as increased balance, strength, cognitive function, and flexibility. RSVP
 
 
Self - Reflexology 

Wednesday, January 27th – 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Reflexology is a traditional medicine based on the principle that there are small and specific areas of innervation in the hands and feet that correspond to specific muscle groups or organs of the body. In this system, the nerve endings in the extremities provide a “map” to the rest of the body. In broad terms, reflexology is intended to reduce generalized stress and help the body achieve a state of deep relaxation and balance. A reflexologist will be providing information and techniques about reflexology, including how it works, benefits, and self-application. RSVP

The Corporate Concierge, Monica Bellevue, will be hosting an epic scavenger hunt! There will be 15 random items to find in your house or office. Players will have 1 minute to find each item! The player with the most points will win a prize! RSVP

Journaling Workshop  

Tuesday, December 9th – 4:00 pm  - 4:45 pm  

Journaling can serve many purposes. It can kickstart your creative writing, it can be a moment of self-reflection, and it can be a way to better understand yourself. In this meeting, we will free-write using journal prompts provided by the facilitators, Monica Bellevue, and Christopher De La Cruz. You may share your reflections with the group if you choose. Participants who join the meeting will receive a complimentary journaling kit. RSVP

The artwork “reinvents the current floor distancing decal culture by putting the emphasis back on how Angelenos can be socially connected—by gaining knowledge and understanding about the diverse experiences in Los Angeles County from the perspectives of those who live them.” It’s free to enjoy any time. MLK Day of Service 


The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Jan. 18, 2021, is the 26th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the Civil Rights leader’s life and legacy. Observed each year on the third Monday in January as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
